Reading. Last summer one of my bunks picked a book, and the whole bunk read it. Campers took turns reading the book aloud. It was really cool.

This is a tough one... I'll have to answer it twice!
When I worked at GS camps, cheap and quick.
Now that I work at a traditional camp, nicer and more expensive.

First thing you do on a night off:
Shower/get cleaned up or Check your e-mail/cell phone?

Check e-mail, if possible! I can always squeeze in a shower at night (possibly because my unit has showers in it).

Bring a lot of stuff for a comfortable summer, or pack light?

I usually bring enough for a some what comfortable summer... though I usually have to head to Wal-Mart a few times over the summer.

Giving your campers "flashlight time" or having them go to bed right away.
